Kerner is a grape variety originating from the late twenties last century. It is a crossing between varieties Trollinger and Riesling. Initially the wine was called The White Herold, but later named after Justinus Kerner, German poet and physician convinced that a glass of good wine was often more effective than traditional medication. Kerner dry white wine is fresh, delicate and fruity, a tasty blend of mixed white fruits. With 24 hours of skin contact it shows hints of apple, grapefruit, a tropical whiff of mango and subtile Muscat tone.
