Szeremi Szerelem 2017
Szeremi Szerelem is a dry white wine, a blend of old Balkan grape varieties and international varieties. Tamjanika, known as one of the oldest Serbian indigenous white grape varieties, gives subtle muscat aroma and ditto taste. Sremska Zelenika, autochthonous variety as well and growing mainly in the Northern region of Serbia – Vojvodina, adds fruitiness and tones of apple and lychee. The vineyards are located on the slopes of mountain Fruska Gora, next to the river Danube.
Welsch Riesling also known as Riesling Italico is known for its dry fresh wines, slightly floral and provides a nice mix of citrus and stone fruit. Last but not least Traminer, a distinct aromatic grape with tones of roses and raisins and a hint of spiciness.
This remarkable blend is over all fresh and fruity, it is layered with fine acids, floral and spicy, masculine and feminine. In its totality an expressive wine, a celebration. Szeremi Szerelem: Gift of love.
