A word from the winemaker
Special Land’s wine, Symbiose, represents our way of thinking when it comes to highlighting one parcel instead of a varietal wine.
One hectare of Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Muscat, Pinot blanc, Auxerrois planted all together.
Everything is harvested the same day and then they’ll go in stainless steel cuves for 6 days of skin contact before pressing.
From the soil to the bottle we keep the grapes together in order to express our Agro-ecological driving, vines and trees cohabiting to help reduce monoculture and let nature take back its rights as much as possible.
Symbiose’s parcel was where we started to plant trees and today we are certified with Agroforestry, we’ve got 280 trees/hectare.
