Distilled specialty, pure and soft in taste produced by Rajal Distillery, a family owned distillery where tradition and knowledge combined create one of the best Serbian Apricot brandies.
In northern Serbia Apricot brandy, also called Kajsija, is a classic variety of Rakija and Rajal Distillery is one of the top producers. The apricot originates from north-east China on the border with Russia, was much later in time brought to Armenia and around 70 BC spread by the Romans through Greece and across Europe. Today we are blessed in Europe with dozens of apricot varieties, apricot being a stone fruit very much loving heat and higher temperatures. Apricot can be preserved and dried, but it is unmistakably one of the best fruit varieties for Rakija.
Rajal Apricot Rakija is of first distillate and made from six well-chosen most suitable varieties. Production is done without added yeast, sugar or unnatural additives.
In Serbia and surrounding countries on the Balkans there is always an opportunity to drink Rakija, as it is a versatile drink for any occasion or festivity, for happiness and celebration of friendship.
