Saint Graal – Prokupac
Saint Graal is a red wine, estate grown 100% indigenous grape varietal Prokupac, by Kosta Botunjac’ uncompromising methods: Unfiltered, without the use of electric pumps. Botunjac prefers the use of wild yeasts as they give the wine more complexity and he does not add enzymes or other additives. This natural wine is the fruit of traditional knowledge. It has a dark ruby color, fresh and complex smell of ripe red fruit. Oak aging (foudres) aging gives this wine a delicate light taste of oak and intense aroma.
Saint Graal Prokupac is a one varietal high quality dry red wine, it has a nose of strawberry, raspberry, mulberry, straw, and dirt. The palate is full of ripe strawberry and earth, finishing with sweet tannins. The wine is somewhat lighter in color. Saint Graal is a phenomenal example of a Serbian wine, yet to be discovered by the younger and older generation of wine admirers.
