Pet Nat
Petillant Naturel, or “Pet Nat,” is a natural sparkling wine.
The wine is fermented in the bottle with the use of natural yeasts. This “new style” of winemaking is actually one of the most ancient wine making methods known.
All of the delicious notes from Šipon are present, however since the wine has undergone fermentation in the bottle, you’ll taste a little of the remaining yeasts and sugars. Flavors like citrus and fruit come first and hidden are notes of bread, cookies, and sometimes even beer-like flavors are present.
As each bottle is individually dosed and fermented, no two bottles will be the exactly the same. Cloudy, murky, and totally delicious this is a real treat! Matic describes this wine as “one funky piece of winemaking!” Chill this wine and get ready for bubbles! This will pair with many different flavors- let your palate and mind run wild!
